Safety 1st

Braylon is the proud new owner of a booster seat... We canned the carseat when he started Kindergarten - too much of a hassle to get out of it in the school drop-off line! Well, it's the end of 1st grade year - and his class went on a field trip to Safety Town:

There, he found out that he still needs to be in a booster seat. A fine way to keep the parents in line...tell kids how it should be!

At least the front seat argument is settled for now - as he had been increasing his requests to take a turn like his bigger brothers - one of which is not big enough to sit in front either - but thinks he is... Would that - could that be - the moose??? He got spoiled on all those long drives to Dallas!!!

The field trip was fun - especially since it stopped raining and the kids got to drive around the miniature town - in kidsize jeeps - fully equipped with seatbelts, steering wheels and gas pedals... The crosswalk signs and light signals worked and the buildings were too cute! It was fun. I want to go back and play!

Too bad you couldn't go in the buildings...it would be so fun!
