The boys and I took a 3 hour road trip to Wichita Falls. We went to eat lunch with my cousin Jono, who was in Texas on business from California. The last time we would have seen each other would have been when we were very young children in Louisiana. It's not every day that I would drive that far for lunch - but Jono had a couple of hours free, so it was worth the drive for a visit! On the way, we took pictures of burned out land along the highway from the Texas wildfires. When we arrived in Wichita Falls, we stopped at a Texas Welcome Center to let the boys stretch their legs while we waited on Jono. We ate at Cracker Barrell and the boys were delighted to spend some of their money in the gift shop. One thing that really stuck out to me about Jono is that he likes his job and really enjoys his life. He travels a lot so when he is home, he says he is on 'staycation' and does all the things he would do on a vacation. The boys took over much of the conversation - which is so typical of them - they love to talk!!! We all had a nice time. It rained pretty much the whole way home. We thought about taking a detour to see Brandon on the way home, but it would have been way out of the way - and he was busy getting a really bad haircut...

Cool tree!
Bradley joined us nicely for a group picture with Jono. : )
He had been refusing to let me take his picture previously...
