Who needs Santa when you have Uncle Jay?!

Twice a year, the kids look forward to what their Uncle Jay has gotten them - their birthdays and Christmas. He is an awesome shopper and always impresses everyone with his gifts! This year he really outdid everybody - maybe even Santa... The kids loved the High-Tides and scooter from their Meemo but I think all of their favorite gifts are from Jay. He got them Nerf shooters - and really cool ones too. He likes to play with the toys he gets the boys - and his favorite this year is Braylon's glow in the dark N-Strike Firefly dart gun the best. When you shoot it, there is a bright light that flashes and ignites the glow - so as the darts fly through the air, they glow. Neat! They only had time to try out their High-Tides and scooter before going to the candlelight service so the first thing they wanted to do after opening gifts from Santa was to put together and play with their Nerf guns. That was above setting up their new Wii. WOW!!!

Bradley has the High-Tide down but Brenton's back side is kind of sore... He was out practicing more today and is doing better. Once he gets it down, I'm sure he will be trying to do some crazy stunts! It's awesome that his port is out and that he was able to start practicing right away! God is good. Braylon finally has a scooter of his own and he is as pleased as can be.

The boys have also really enjoyed putting together their new lego sets today. Bradley got a Speed Racer set, Brenton got Star Wars, and Braylon got a cool Lego City helicopter. It's neat that they have been able to hang out and play with their new toys today and not have to load up and hit the road - but - I am a little bit disappointed with myself for not doing a better job planning food for today. We had breakfast covered as always but are skipping over lunch and eagerly awaiting dinner - Darrell is cooking on the grill since the weather is so nice!
